While in dental school, Dr. Hooper joined the Louisiana Army National Guard and has served for 15 years. He currently holds the rank of Major and serves as a dentist. In 2023, he deployed overseas, providing care to service members and helping establish the first fully operational dental chair unit in Poland at that time.
As a Bossier City native and currently serving Louisiana Army National Guard Major, Dr. Hooper understands the schedules, moves, and priorities of military families — including those stationed at nearby Barksdale Air Force Base.
